Formed Plastic Letters & Logos

Formed Plastic letters and logos are thermoformed from cellulose acetate butyrate and extruded . Extruding raw materials produces a thicker, more durable plastic with greater color consistency and surface quality. These letters and logos are unique in that unlike oil-based acrylics, CAB is a wood and cotton based plastic giving greater impact resistance, weather ability and more flexibility in recreating your designs.
Formed Plastic letters and logos are made with electric black body and ceramic radiant heating ovens.

Cast Metal Letters & Logos

Cast Metal letters and logos are used to announce a business or building with a greater sense of permanency. Cast Metal Letters, in aluminum or bronze, are individually hand cast in non-polluting electric resistance furnaces. Prime aluminum and bronze ingot are hand poured into virgin sand molds at 1300 F and 2150 F respectively.
Cast Metal Letters offer greater dimension than flat cut letters. Typically depths range from 1/2" to 1 1/2" depending on the height of the letter.

Flat Cut-Out Metal

Flat Cut Out Metal letters and logos are available in a wide variety of materials: aluminum, bronze, brass, copper and stainless steel.

Pentium powered computers paired with the latest graphics and software replicate your most complex ideas. Your letters and logos are then either routed with CNC machinery or waterjet cut. Waterjet cutting uses softened water pressurized to 45,000 psi forced through an .010 orifice at 3 times the speed of sound. Flat Cut Out Letters are available in any height specified.

Injection Molded Letters are produced using virgin engineering polymers enhanced with ultra-violet modifiers, injection molded at 12,000 psi/450 F. Tool steel molds generated by precision CNC wire electric discharge machines produce the most accurate and consistent letters and numbers possible.
Offering a sharper edge than formed plastic letters, Injection Molded Letters are often used as an alternative to cast metal letters.

Channel Letters for neon illumination are most often constructed with metal bodies, frequently causing electrical arcing between the body and the wiring. This can lead to malfunction or fire. As the name implies, these fonts consist of three dimensional letters made of either colored, translucent plastic or opaque plastic material. These letters have found wide usage for theater marquees, casinos and other types of entertainment venues where a distinctive look is desired. There are two main types of dimensional fonts: Slotted-B and Snap-Lok.

Slotted-B fonts are injection molded plastic letters with angled slots in the letter return that allow them to hang on Slotted-B track.

Snap-Lok fonts are formed plastic letters with mounting hardware attached to the return. Hooks are placed on the upper portion of the letter with spring clips on the lower portion.
